How long does onboarding take?+
We set it up with you. Your account is seeded with your team, customers, their locations, vendors and vehicles, pulled from QuickBooks and placed on the map, so the dispatch board is full on day one. Every tech gets their own Tech Bot: one free messaging app, and that's the last thing anybody installs. Work orders start clean, you don't migrate a mess, and your books stay in QuickBooks.
What happens to our existing software?+
If you don't have any, there's nothing to rip out. If you do, keep it running while you try this. Just Talk Shop runs on its own; nothing connects to your existing software, so nothing breaks, and you switch the old tool off when you're ready. Either way your books stay in QuickBooks: an approved bill goes to QuickBooks as an estimate, and your bookkeeper turns it into the invoice there.
Who owns the data?+
You do. Every work order, every photo, every unit's history, every hour logged. Your shop runs single-tenant, on its own server and its own database. Ask and you get a complete export within 7 days, any time. Ask and we delete it. We don't sell it or train AI models on it. And your books never leave QuickBooks.
